When I opened the program it could not detect my VPN connections and when I attempted to to make the configuration file, only one of my VPN connections was recorded and the AutoVPNConnectConfig.txt was written in the root of my C: partition even though the partition I booted into was the D: partition. The program opened this VPN connection as soon as it starts, with no facility for choosing a connection or not after Windows has loaded. I recommend VPN Lifeguard as a superior alternative.

It performed flawlessly.

It gives you a warning when there is no network connection, which is nice. The only nit of a recommendation is that after three or five warnings it would either turn off automatically or ask you if you want to turn it off. But for the price, I’m happy with what it does. If you have a VPN profile already set up, simply tell the app to connect to it whenever Wi-Fi is detected. Waa laa, it connects every time I open my laptop. Here is the only problem. I am connecting to a VPN server at my house. As such, as soon as I get home and open my laptop, it tries to connect to the VPN.and fails because it can’t loop back to the same IP I’m originating from. If the developer could update this app to allow for exceptions, then I could avoid having it try to connect on certain SSID’s, while connecting everywhere else. That would make the app AMAZING and definitely worth 5 stars!

Please consider this enhancement.
